According to "Harvard School of Public Health," 
Coconut oil is about 90% saturated fat, which is a higher percentage than butter which is 64%, beef fat is 40%.  Too much saturated fat is unhealthy because it raises our "bad"LDL cholesterol levels which increases the risk of heart disease.  So, it would seem that coconut oil would be bad for us.  But, what is interesting about coconut oil is that it also gives our "Good" HDL cholesterol a boost and Coconut oil seems to be good at doing so.
It is still advisable to consume in small quantities so, don't give up your Olive Oil just yet!!!
